Tankan Kennel is a kennel in the middle part of Norway, in a small town called Namsos. We have been breeders of papillon and phalene since 1987. Many of our dogs are champions, even international champions.
In the summer you can find us on the countryroads, driving to a dogshow. In the winter we go by planes. Our dogs love to be with us in our caravan, and sometimes they do things that they are not allowed to do.
Look at picture 1. To the left, Tankan's Stanley, papillon 9 months, and to the right is Int Nord uch Tankan's Lucky Boy, phalene 5 1/2 year. It looks as if they are having a good time in the sun and on the table. Picture no. 2 shows Lucky standing in the caravandoor.
Picture no. 4 shows Int Nord Fin uch Tankan's Omega, sitting on the bed in the caravan. (She wasn't allowed to be there, but we got a nice photo of her.)
Picture nr. 7 shows our grandson Are Joacim and Lucky and Pringo (Int Nord Fin uch Tankan's Phantom O'the Night). They are helping him to eat.

We don't have many litters in a year, 1-2 is enough, and the puppies are usually born in the autumn. Our puppies are staying together with the whole family from the age of three weeks, and they get used to all domestic sounds, children and other dogs. Picture no. 3 and picture no. 5 shows our grandson Lars Ove with some puppies.
We are members of the Norwegian Kennel Club and the Norwegian club of Small Breed Dogs, and we do our breeding according to the ethical rules of those clubs.
